A tax return preparer scheme enables tax payers to prepare and finish their returns of income.
Assessees Eligible: The scheme shall apply to specifiad class or clasces of persons, except companies and those required to get their accounts audited u/s 44 AB or any other law.
Who is Tax Returns Preparer: Any individual (except a chartered account, a lawyer or an employee of a bank where the assessee maintains an account) having prescribed qualification and training, act as tax returns Preparer.
Duties of Tax Return preparer: He shall assist the assessee in the specified manner, in furnishing the return of income and shall affix his signature on the return. |
